Great Barr College

In September 2009 the college in Aldridge Road became the James Watt campus of the newly formed Birmingham Metropolitan College.

Previously it has been

• Great Barr campus of Sutton College (1st August 2003 - 31st August 2009)
• North Birmingham College (1992 - 31st July 2003)
  
• Brooklyn Technical College 1949? - 1992)
  

The future plans are to demolish the college and replace by housing. A new college campus is planned for the site of the former Express and Avonmore Dairy in Aldridge Road.
